Admission

Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to the admission rules of St. Joseph’s Central School, Yelwal. Admission procedure usually starts in the last week of November.

Registration for Admission

Short-listed students, along with parents will be called for a pre-admission counselling session after the scrutiny of registration.

A child seeking admission to LKG should have completed 3 Years 10 months of age as on 1st June of the year of admission.

A child seeking admission to Class 1 should have completed 5 Years 10 months as on 1st June of the year of admission. This will be the age criteria for those seeking admission to other classes as well.

Admission Process

Short-listed students, along with parents will be called for a pre-admission counselling session after the scrutiny of registration.

The following certificates should be submitted at the time of admission. If photo copies of the certificates are submitted, it should be supported by the original for verification.

  • Date of Birth Certificate (LKG, UKG and Class 1)
  • UKG Study Certificate (Class 1)
  • Assessment Records/ Mark Reports of the previous year (Class 2 and above)
  • Two copies of recent passport size photograph
  • Transfer Certificate (in original) in the case of those seeking Transfer Admission (Class 2 and above)
  • The student and both the parents should be present at the time of admission.

Fee Particulars

Details of the fee payable by the parents seeking admission to various classes is available with the School Office.

The fees include a onetime payable Capital Expenditure Fee (as approved by the Govt. of Karnataka), Annual Tuition Fee and other fees payable such as Sports, Library, Lab, Medical insurance, Uniform, Text/Note books, field trips and outdoor educational programme, etc. Transportation Fee is not included in the Annual Fees.

There will be a marginal increase (10–15%) in the Annual Fee every year to meet the increased cost of material and services, annual increment to staff, etc.
